Michael Eilers.  I’m a freelance film editor and music composer based in Hamburg. I studied composition and music production in Groningen at the Prins Claus Conservatorium followed by a Bachelor in Popular Music and Media at the University of Paderborn.

Since then I have worked over 12 years in my profession for various companies including Sony, RedBull Media and advertising agencies. Since the summer of 2021 I am self-employed and edited/ scored music videos, commercial and narrative shorts.

This year I built my own professional studio where I’m able to work at the highest industry standards. I edit on Adobe Premiere and Avid Media Composer.
